With the fan extension cable offered here, you can extend the range of any fan inside the case. The cable extends the signal path by a good 30 cm. It is compatible with 4-pin PWM fans, meaning it transmits the pulse width modulation signal from the motherboard to the fan. Normal 3-pin fans can also be connected, which then run unregulated.
